I don't know anything about microfiber furniture but i have two cats myself and they're not declawed. My advice to you is to get a beige or maybe little darker color. No matter what kind of fabrics you have, the cats will still have their bad habits unless you trained them. Steam clean the fabrics is the best solutions. Good luck!

I'm in Ontario Canada and just picked up a brand new crib and changing table for under $ 500. What I did was have everyone I know keep their eyes open for sales going on at various stores. You don't need some horribly expensive set just so it looks good sitting there - you'll get rid of it in a few years anyway! I picked mine up at a BabiesRUs when they were having a great sale and although it might not be in most PERFECT style and colour, it's pretty close and it's SAFE. Your kid won't judge you based on what it looks like and if you can live with it, save the money for something else.

Also, when it comes to dressers, you might want to keep your eye open at garage sales or second-hand stores, sometimes all they need is a coat of paint to look brand new again. Think about how long you'll be using these items - a dresser might stick around for many years but the crib and table will be gone within 5. Ikea even has some decent dressers for under $ 200. You don't have to get everything in one store and have it all 100% match!

You don't have to fork over tons of cash for quality items - you can get some great safe, quality items without spending over a thousand dollars. Just have others paying attention to sale flyers for you and you should be able to find yourself a great deal just like I did. Even Zellers and other places have decent items that are safe without having to spend so much.

Good luck :)

Depending where in Ontario you are, you can save a ton of money by crossing the border and shopping at Walmart. They sell crib/dresser/changing table sets starting at $ 189.

Considering that kids tend to chew on cribs and destroy them, I see no reason to buy the most expensive one. As nice as the convertable cribs are, once your child chews on the bars, it won't make a nice headboard anymore. Once your first child outgrows the changing table, it will likely become a storage shelf until the next child and become broken. Save your money on the furniture and put it towards clothes and diapers!

Well if he bought it after he took the pictures hes paid for ti now whats the problem? If he took the pictures after he bought it it wouldn't be in the shop anymore.

its only illegal if they use the pictures for profit, or if they had a do not tresspass order against the camera man, or a restraining order against the customer. in the future, if you want to give your friend legal advice, tell them this line "ask a lawyer"

I would say that unless the store owner specifically forbade the person from entering the store and taking pictures PRIOR to doing so, it isn't illegal. The store owner would have been fully within his/her rights to ask the person to leave as soon as they saw what they were doing. If they refused, they could then be arrested for trespassing.
